Setting Up with V-Drums Stands
* Depending on the settings, the sounds output by the PM-30 may cause the V-Drums pads to trigger by mistake or otherwise operate
incorrectly. If this occurs, resolve the problem either by positioning the PM-30 and the V-Drums pads further apart or by lowering the
sensitivity setting on the V-Drums sound module.
The PM-30 is not merely a monitor for use with V-Drums, but also can be used as a monitor with a variety of other devices, and
can even be used as a simple PA in smaller venues.
Here are some specific examples of different ways to use the system.
Satellite Speakers Attached to the Main Unit’s Handle
Using the same procedure as that used in attaching the satellite speakers to the V-Drums stand, the satellite speakers can be
clamped to the main unit’s top handle to provide an integrated monitor system.
With band performances at smaller studios, you can produce an effect very similar to acoustic drums by placing the PM-30
behind the V-Drums player, thus allowing the other band members to monitor the V-Drums sound at the same time.
To prevent the satellite speakers from overturning,
attach them so they are oriented perpendicular to
the floor.
