Samsung 2250 Printer User Manual


 
Introduced back in July 2004, the Samsung ML-2250 family
of four printers includes the ML-2250, ML-2251N, the
ML-2251NP, and the ML-2252W. Each printer has a duty cycle
of 30,000 pages per month and is capable of printing 22 pagers
per minute at 1200 X 1200 dpi.
The base model ML-2250 sells for $229 which is $70 less than
the HP1150 and its $30 more than the new Lexmark E232. The
network version, ML-2251N, which comes without PostScript
support, and the ML-2251NP, which supports PostScript, sell
for $299 and $349. The fourth printer the ML-2252W has wire-
less networking capabilities and sells for $499.
Dell introduced a MFP machine back in May 2004, based on the
same Samsung engine. The Dell 1600n sells for $399, has a print
and copy speed of 22ppm and prints at 600 x 600 dpi, enhanced
to “1,200 image quality”. Samsungs MFP based on the ML-2250
engine has not yet been released but expect it shortly.
Samsung offers only a high yield cartridge for the Samsung
ML-2250. The ML2250D5 sells for $99.99, holds 125 grams of
toner and yields 5,000 pages at 5% coverage. Dell on the other
hand offers a standard 3,000 page cartridge (part # 310-5416)
as well as a high yield 5,000 page cartridge (part #310-1417)
that sells for $79.95.
