www.microsoft.com.Installthefileonyourcomputer,

removethemodemfromyourcomputer,thenrerunthe

installation.

a)Canceltheinstallation.

b)Downloadthefile:

http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108312/

ikernelupdate.exe.

c)Installthefileonyourcomputer,removethemodem

fromyourcom puter,thenreruntheinstallation.

6. Usethe

NextandBackbuttonstonavigatethroughthe

wizardnotingthefollowing:

· Toproceedwiththeinstallation,youmustclick

I accept

the terms in the license agreement

toindicateyouraccep‐

tanceofthetermsoftheli censeagreement.

Windowsdetectsthemodemandinstallsthedriversforit.

Thismaytakeafewminutes.Oncecompleted,thesystem

traymaydisplaythemessage“Yourdevicesarereadyto

use“or“Yournewhardwareisinstalledandready

touse”:

7. Ifyouarepromptedtorestart yourcomputer:

a)Saveanyopendocuments.

b)Selecttheoptiontorestartyourcomputer.

c)WaituntilyourcomputerrestartsandWindowsisready.

8. Whenyouarenotifiedthattheinstallationiscomplete,

click

Finish.

9. IfWatcherhasnotstartedautomatically,startit:double‐

clicktheWatchericononyourdesktop.

10. Proceedtoconfigurethemodemtouseyouraccount(ifit

wasnotpre‐activated).See“Activation”onpage 27.
