12 Close the computer cover, then tighten the screws on the bottom of the computer.
Viewing the amount of memory
To view the amount of memory, proceed as follows:
1 Turn on the computer.
2 Go to Sony Notebook Setup via the Start menu.
The Sony Notebook Setup dialog box appears.
3 In the About this Computer tab you can view the amount of system memory. If the additional memory
does not appear, repeat the whole procedure and restart the notebook.
Other precautions
On handling the hard disk
The hard disk has a high storage density and reads or writes data in a short time. On the other hand, it may
be easily damaged by mechanical vibration, shock or dust.
