Using the Compact Woofer Bay unit
With a Compact Woofer Bay (subwoofer), you get a better sound and a better reproduction of the bass
frequencies.
To attach the subwoofer, proceed as follows:
1 If another device is in the multipurpose bay, remove the device.
2 Slide the subwoofer in the direction of the arrow until it clicks into place.
To remove the subwoofer, proceed as follows:
1 Slide the multipurpose bay release lever on the bottom of the computer in the direction of the arrow.
2 Remove the subwoofer.
✍ Do not put the subwoofer near a recording media, such as a hard drive, a floppy disk drive, a MiniDisc, etc. Because the subwoofer is magnetic, some
media may be impacted.
There is no need to connect the external speakers and the subwoofer at the same time; the sound quality will not improve when connecting both
devices to your computer.
