2 Click the icon representing the key combination you want to use to launch automatically your
application.
The Select Application dialog box appears.
3 Select the application you need by using the browse options to the left.
4 Click Next.
5 Confirm the name and path of the selected application.
6 Click Next.
7 Select the configuration name for the selected application, and enter a description if needed.
8 Click Finish.
You can use the internal timer to start software at a specific time. The timer can start applications even when the computer is in Hibernate mode.
Using i.LINK™
You can preset your i.LINK™-equipped devices to perform certain functions, such as automatically starting
DVgate™ applications or connecting two VAIO computers.
To preset your i.LINK™ device to perform a certain function, proceed as follows:
1 From the Start menu, select Programs - VAIO Action Setup - VAIO Action Setup.
The VAIO Action Setup dialog box appears.
2 Click i.LINK.
3 Click the Advanced Setting tab.
4 Select the Enable i.LINK launcher function check box and click Apply.
5 Connect the device to your computer with your i.LINK™ cable.
6 Turn on the device.
The VAIO Action Setup dialog box appears.
7 Click OK.
