Increasing the system memory may also help. The computer has two
memory slots. For memory upgrades, use only 3.3V 64-bit PC-133 SDRAM

Turn off and disconnect your device.

When this occurs, follow the procedures below to reset the printer connection:

Right-click My Computer on the desktop and then select Properties.

Click the Device Manager tab.

Select Refresh, and then click OK.

The printer should now function properly.

Remove the checkmark from the option, “Disable in this hardware profile.”
