Long-lasting battery
VAIO B55G adds endurance to your mobile
lifestyle with a battery that has the power and
stamina to last a long time. The PCGA-BP2V
standard battery can offer up to 4.5 hours* of
operation, while the optional large-capacity
battery PCGA-BP4V offers up to 9.5 hours* of
operation. The VAIO Power Management Viewer

battery power last long. It controls the balance of
stamina and performance with customisable
power setting modes, and adjusts the setting
mode depending on whether its connected or
disconnected to the AC adapter.
* Estimated battery life under JEITA Battery Run Time
Measurement Method (ver.1.0) when the power-saving mode is

conditions and settings.
Presentations made easy
VAIO B55G automatically displays presentation
material on an external display at its maximum
resolution* once connected via monitor connector.
Two one-touch buttons on the speaker grille
provide shortcuts for several functions: mute,
external output, and application shortcuts.
Combinations of the [Fn] key with function keys
are additional shortcuts. Press [Fn] and [F10], for
example, and the display will change resolution
and magnify images or text.
* When using projector devices that dont feature EDID
(Extended Display Identification Data), maximum resolution
output may not be implemented.
