Changing the printer port
❏ Click on Port or press the F8 function key.
❏ Select the port you want to use by double-clicking on it, or by moving to it with
the arrow keys and pressing Enter.
Saving setup data in a configuration file
❏ To save setup data in a configuration file so you can recall it later, click on File or
press the F3 function key.
❏ Select Save from the menu that drops down by double-clicking on it, or by
moving the highlighting to it with the arrow keys and pressing Enter.
❏ Input the name that you want to assign to the configuration file and press Enter.
The configuration is automatically stored in the directory you specified under
“Installing the User Setup Utility” on page 67, and assigned the extension “.cfg”.
Important!
Remember that changing User Setup Utility settings on the computer screen does
not directly change them in the printer. To change the printer settings to those
shown on the screen, use the Exit command (page 77).

❏ Cliquez sur Port ou appuyez sur la touche de fonction F8.
❏ Sélectionnez le port que vous voulez utiliser en cliquant deux fois dessus ou en
positionnant le curseur dessus avec les touches fléchées, puis en appuyant sur
Enter.
Sauvegarde des données dans un fichier de configuration
❏ Pour sauvegarder des données dans un fichier de configuration afin de pouvoir
les rappeler par la suite, cliquez sur Fichier ou appuyez sur la touche de fonction
F3.
❏ Sélectionnez Sauver sur le menu qui apparaît en cliquant deux fois dessus ou en
positionnant le curseur dessus avec les touches fléchées et en appuyant sur
Enter.
❏ Entrez le nom que vous voulez donner au fichier de configuration et appuyez sur
Enter. La configuration est automatiquement mémorisée dans le sommaire que
vous avez désigné à l’étape “Installation de l’utilitaire d’impression” à la page
67 et l’extension “cfg” lui est attribuée.
Important!
Les paramètres modifiés sur l’écran de l’ordinateur avec l’utilitaire d’impression ne
sont pas changés dans l’imprimante. Pour transférer les réglages de l’écran à
l’imprimante, utilisez la commande Quitter (page 77).
