Setting Up the Scanner
Installing the Cable
1. Switch off all devices connected to the LS 4000P.
2. Pull the boot up over the cable until just the connector is pro-
truding.
3. Plug the modular connector on the cable into the receptacle in
the bottom of the LS 4000P handle. Listen for a click.
4. Gently tug the cable to ensure the connector is properly se-
cured.
