TheTLV320AIC3107EVMisintheTexasInstrumentsmodularEVMformfactor,whichallowsdirect
evaluationofthedeviceperformanceandoperatingcharacteristics,andeasessoftwaredevelopmentand
systemprototyping.ThisEVMiscompatiblewiththe5-6KInterfaceEvaluationModule(SLAU104)andthe
HPA-MCUINTERFACE(SLAU106)fromTexasInstrumentsandadditionalthird-partyboardswhich
supportstheTIModularEVMformat.
TheTLV320AIC3107EVM-Kisacompleteevaluation/demonstrationkit,whichincludesaUSB-based
motherboardcalledtheUSB-MODEVMInterfaceboardandevaluationsoftwareforusewithaPCrunning
theMicrosoftWindowsoperatingsystems.
TheUSBconnectionfromthePCprovidespower,control,andstreamingaudiodatatotheEVMfor
reducedsetupandconfiguration.TheEVMalsoallowsexternalcontrolsignals,audiodata,andpowerfor
advancedoperation,whichallowsprototypingandconnectiontotherestoftheevaluation/development
system.
