ThesoftwarecanrecordthedataittakesfromtheTSC2007toatab-delimitedfile,suitableforimporting
intospreadsheets.Todothis,firstgointotheFilemenu,andselectLogDatatoFile...,whichopensa
file-selectwindowandallowsyoutospecifyafiletowhichtowritethedata.Atthesametime,thisenables
theDataloggingmenu.
Whenreadytobeginrecordingdatatoafile,selectDatalogging→StartLogging.Dataiswrittentothefile
untilDatalogging→StopLoggingisselected.Whenthescreenisnottouched,theAUXandTEMPvalues
arewrittentothefile,andtheX,Y,Z1,andZ2parametersarewrittentothefilewithvaluesof9999,to
indicatethattheyarenotupdated.Whenthescreenistouched,theX,Y,Z1,andZ2parametersare
writtenwhiletheAUXandTEMPvaluesarewrittentothefileas9999.Becausetheprogramconstantly
updatesatarateofabout400readingspersecond,datalogfilescanquicklygrowlarge;therefore,log
onlythatdatawhichisnecessary.
Theformatofthedatafilehasthefirstcolumnasthetimeinmilliseconds(whichisjustatimerinthe
program;itcanarbitrarilystartatanynumber),thenX,Y,Z1,Z2,AUX,TEMP0,andTEMP1columns.
Everynewreadingisanewrowinthefile.
