Disks
Optical disc drive
AC adaptor The AC adaptor provides power to the system
and recharges the batteries when they are low. It
comes with a detachable power cord which will
either have a 2-pin or 3-pin plug enclosure.
As the AC adaptor is universal, it can receive a
range of AC voltages from 100 to 240 volts,
however you should note that the output current
varies among different models. Using the wrong
adaptor can damage your computer. Refer to the
AC adaptor section in Chapter 2, The Grand
Tour.
Hard disk drive or
Solid state drive
This computer is equipped with one of the
following hard disk drive (HDD) types. The
capacity of each hard disk drive model is
different.
■ HDD
■ 250GB
■ 320GB
■ 400GB
■ 500GB
■ 640GB
Please note that part of the hard disk drive
overall capacity is reserved as administration
space. Additional HDD drive sizes may be
introduced.
Under certain unusual conditions of prolonged non-use and/or exposure to
high temperatures, the SSD may be vulnerable to data retention errors.

Drive The following optical disc drives may be pre-
installed in this computer.
■ DVD Super Multi drive
■ BD-Combo drive
■ BD-Writer drive
2.6GB and 5.2GB DVD-RAM media cannot be read from or written to.
