To uninstall programs in Windows
®
7, click Start, Control Panel,
and then Uninstall a program.
Using IPCONFIG to determine the computer’s IP address
To determine the computer’s IP address in Windows
®
7, do the
following:
1 Click Start.
2 Type
Cmd in the Search programs and files field.
3 Enter
IPCONFIG/ALL and press Enter.
If a blank screen appears while you are watching a DVD
(For applicable models that include an optical drive)
Your display may be set to automatically turn off after a certain
interval. To disable this setting in Windows
®
7, do the following:
1 Click Start, Control Panel, System and Security, and then
Power Options.
2 On the left side of the window, click Choose when to turn off
the display.
3 Select Never in the Turn off the display drop-down list.
4 Click Save changes.
If the screen saver appears while you are watching a DVD
(For applicable models that include an optical drive)
If the screen saver runs while you are watching a movie or title in
Windows
®
7, use the following steps to disable the screen saver:
1 Right-click on the desktop and click Personalize on the menu.
2 In the lower-right corner of the window, click Screen Saver.
3 Select None from the Screen saver drop-down list.
4 Click OK.
