Smart Switch
Please connect the Ethernet ports of the switch to the network devices by RJ45 cable
as the following figure shown.

Connect the SFP port to a SFP module. For the switch, if an SFP transceiver (purchased
separately) is installed in a slot and has a valid link on the port, the associated RJ45
port will be disabled and cannot be used.

Note:
SFP module supports hot-plugging, plug the SFP module into the SFP port and the
switch can identify it automatically.
The SFP port
supports 100/1000Base-FX SFP module at full-duplex mode. When
using a SFP module, you need to log on to the GUI of the switch and configure
the corresponding Speed and Duplex mode on Switching
→

page. For 100M module, please select 100MFD while select 1000MFD for gigabit
module. By default, the Speed and Duplex mode of SFP mode is 1000MFD. For
TL-SL2210/TL-SL2452, the SFP port can only be used with a gigabit module.
