Installation Instructions
Step One: Connect Your Router
1. Connect your DSL or Cable modem to the router:
A. Power off your computer and your DSL or Cable modem.
B. Do one of the following:
.If your modem connects to
your computer with an Ether-
net cable: Locate the Ethernet
cable that connects your DSL or
Cable modem to your computer’s
Ethernet adapter, and disconnect
it from your computer only: do
not disconnect the cable from
your DSL or Cable modem
If your modem connects to your
computer with a USB cable:
Disconnect the USB cable from
both the modem and your compu-
ter. You will need another Ether-
net cable in addition to the one
provided with the Wireless Router.
Connect one end of the Ethernet
cable to the Ethernet port on the
back of your DSL or Cable modem.
C. Connect the free end of the Eth-
ernet cable to the WAN port on
the rear of the router.
2. Connect the router to your computer
and wired network devices:
A. Connect one end of the supplied
Ethernet cable to your computer’s
Ethernet port.
B. Connect the other end to one of
the router’s LAN ports
3. Power up the network:
A. Turn on your modem. Wait until
the modem LEDs stabilize before
powering up your router.
B. Connect the supplied power
adapter to the 3.3VDC port on
the router.
C. Plug the power adapter into a
standard power outlet
.
D. Turn on your computer.
Note:This product is intended to be supplied by a Listed Direct Plug-in
Power Unit marked Class 2 and rated 3.3 VDC, 2000 mA.
