46 Phaser 1235 Color Printer
Back-Side Contamination
Toner has been
deposited on the
non-imaged side of a
print.
There is excess toner in
the paper path:
■ The fuser has
contamination.
To clean up any
residual toner, print
blank sheets of paper.
■ If the problem
persists, inspect the
fuser for excess toner
and replace.
Color Misregistration
Color has shifted
outside of the
designated area or has
been superimposed
over another color area.
An LED bar may be
misaligned.
■ An imaging drum
may be misaligned.
■ The transfer belt may
be misaligned.
Open the printer’s top
cover and slowly close
it; the printer performs
an automatic
registration.
■ Reseat the Imaging
Drum of the color that
has misregistered.
■ Reseat the Transfer
Belt if all the colors
have misregistered.
Replace if necessary.
