* Standard-capacity toner cartridge life expectancy is up to 4,000 images on letter-size paper at 5 percent coverage per color.
High-capacity toner cartridge life expectancy is up to 7,000 images per color for Phaser 6300 on letter-size paper at 5 percent
coverage, and 10,000 images per color for Phaser 6350 on letter-size paper at 5 percent coverage.
**Imaging unit life expectancy is up to 35,000 letter-size pages based on mixed printing.
The following usage patterns may significantly reduce imaging unit life:
• Printing jobs of less than 4 pages
• Higher than 15 percent coverage per color
• Using paper that is larger than letter-size
• Automatic two-sided printing
• Exposing the imaging unit to light for more than 10 minutes

• Automatic two-sided printing
• Printing with high toner coverage
• Printing more than 2,000 pages in one day
• Printing on poor quality papers

The following customer usage patterns may significantly reduce the fuser life:
• Printing large numbers of transparencies or specialty papers
• Printing on certain unsupported papers, especially inkjet papers and inkjet transparencies
• Not setting the paper type correctly on the control panel so that the fuser temperature
is not set correctly
