Advanced Setup Options
The options that are set by default when the X4 is installed are
sufficient for most users. However, those that want or need to
change the X4’s settings can do so using the Advanced Setup
page. This chapter explains how to specify advanced options.
The information in this chapter applies to you if:
• Your Internet service provider instructs you to enable,
disable, or change the default settings for your X4 in order
for it to work properly with your ADSL service. See

• You need to change your Wide Area Network settings (for
example, if you have a static IP address). See
