Fax
Manual Dialing
z Use to dial the fax number with the
telephone line open.
¾ Load the originals and select [Fax].
¾ Press [Manual Dial].
The dial tone is audible and the LCD displays ’Phone’.
¾ Dial the fax number and a [Charge Code] if needed. When the
fax tone is heard, press [Start] to begin faxing.
Redial
z Numbers which have already been
entered recently can be quickly
accessed using the Redial function.
¾
Load the originals and select [Fax].
¾ Press [Pause/Redial].
The last number is automatically dialled and the originals are
scanned and faxed.
¾ Load the originals and select [Fax].
¾ Press [Pause/Redial] for approximately 2 seconds.
The Redial Memory in the machine retains the last 10 numbers
dialled.
¾ Using the Navigation Keys, select the number required and
press [Enter].
¾ Press [Start] to dial the number. The fax is automatically
scanned and sent.
Charge Code
z Use to add a charge code to the end
of any manual dial, phonebook entry,
one touch key.
Example (Manual Dial).
¾ Press [Manual Dial].
¾ Dial the fax number.
¾ Press [Charge Code].
¾ Enter the charge code using the numeric Keypad and press
[Enter].
¾ The charge code will appear as $$$$ on the display or in
reports.
