A Quick Tour of the Front Panel
Hardkeys
The two types of hardkeys are instant action and menu.
Clear display
and
Run
are examples of instant action keys because as soon as you press them, the
instrument changes operating states.
Time base
and
Trigger
are examples of
menu keys. Pressing them causes softkey menus to come up on the right side
of the display.

Display
