Removing the Processor
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery (page 2 - 5).
2. Locate the CPU cover and remove screws - .
3. Remove the bay cover .
4. Remove screws
- (Figure b) from the heat sink in the order indicated on the label and disconnect the con-
nector from the mainboard.
5. Carefully lift the heat sink (Figure c) up off the computer.
6. Remove the screws - (Figure d) from the CPU bracket.
7. Remove the CPU bracket
up off the computer.
