7. Serial ATA 3.0Gb/s connectors (7-pin SATA3G_1/2)
These connectors connect to Serial ATA 3.0 Gb/s hard disk drive or optical drive via
Serial ATA 3.0 Gb/s signal cables.
• To congure the default SATA type in BIOS, click Advanced Mode > Advanced tab >
SATA Conguration > SATA Mode.
• When using hot-plug and NCQ, set the
SATA Mode item in the BIOS to [AHCI Mode].

8. TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM)
This connector supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) system, which can securely
store keys, digital certicates, passwords and data. A TPM system also helps enhance
network security, protects digital identities, and ensures platform integrity.
