SATAEXPRESS SRIS Support [Auto]
[Auto] The system will automatically adjust the SRIS(Separate Reference Clock
Independent Spread Spectrum Clocking Architecture) support for connected M.2 or SATA
Express devices.
[Disabled] Select this option for ASUS RUNWAY SATA Express bridge card.
SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
This item allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[Disabled] Disables the SATA function.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk drives as
Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
[RAID] Set to [RAID] when you want to create a RAID conguration from the SATA
hard disk drives.
The following item appears only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to [RAID].
PCI-E NAND Configuration [Auto]
This item allows you to enable or disable PCI-E NAND.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
Aggressive LPM Support [Disabled]
This item is designed for LPM (link power management) support with a better energy saving
conditions. When disabled, the hot plug function of SATA ports are disabled.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. Status Check [Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system that
shows a warning message during POST (Power-on Self Test) when an error occurs in the
hard disks.
Conguration options: [On] [Off]
Hot Plug [Disabled] (SATA6G_1 - SATA6G_6)
These items allow you to enable/disable SATA Hot Plug Support.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
By default, the system detects the rst priority device. The device detection priority is as
follows: PCIe M.2 > SATA Mode M.2 > PCIe SATA Express > SATA Mode SATA Express
> SATA devices.
