Security
The Security page is used to control access to the CN-6000.
w IP and MAC Filters permit or deny access to the CN-6000 for specific IP and
MAC addresses attempting to access the system.
w The Default Java program name lets the Administrator specify an
addition to the IP address that the user must include when he accesses the
CN-6000 with the Java Client. For example:
192.168.0.126/abcdefg
Users must include this name in the IP address, or they will not be
granted access.
Note: 1. If nothing is specified here, no one will be able to access the
CN-6000 with the Java Client.
2. For security purposes, we recommend that you change the name
of this page from time to time.
w Admin station filters are only supported in the AP version of the
Administrator Utility. See p. 63 for a detailed description.
