WheretoplacetheSwitch:
The enclosure of the Switch is designed for desktop or rack-mount configuration.
An optional Rack-Mount Kit (Belkin part number F1D005) is available for use with
the 2- and 4-Port Switches.
ConsiderthefollowingwhendecidingwheretoplacetheSwitch:
•yourproximitytotheportselectorsonthefrontoftheSwitch
•thelengthsofthecablesattachedtoyourkeyboard,monitor,andmouse
•thelocationofyourcomputersinrelationtoyourconsole
•thelengthsofthecablesyouusetoconnectyourcomputerstotheSwitch
Warning: Avoid placing cables near fluorescent lights, air-conditioning
equipment, or machines that create electrical noise (e.g., vacuum cleaners).
