Antennas
Make sure the antennas are extended vertically in
relation to the floor.
Central Location
Install the Hub in a central location in the coverage
area you intend to include in the cell. Good
positions are:
• At the center of a large room.
• At the center of a corridor.
• At the intersections of two corridors.
Many modern buildings have metallic partitions.
We recommend that you install the Hubs in the
corridor ceilings. The radio waves propagated by the
Wireless Ethernet LAN may be reflected along the
metal partitions and enter the offices through the
doors or glass sections.
Metal Furniture
Position the Hubs well clear of metallic furniture
and far from moving objects such as metallic fans
or metallic doors.
