Using Windows NT 4.0

Refer to the manual supplied with the wireless LAN card and install the LAN card
drivers.
You must also install the ESS-ID setting driver.

Start Windows NT 4.0 and log on to your logon name (e.g., Administrator) with
administrator access.

Click the Start button and select Settings and Control Panel.

Double-click the Network icon.

Click the Adapters tab and check if the wireless
LAN card driver is displayed in the Network
Adapters: field.
If no wireless LAN card driver is
displayed, refer to the wireless LAN card
manual and install the driver.

Click the Protocols tab and make sure the TCP/
IP Protocol is displayed in the Network Proto-
cols field.
If the TCP/IP protocol is not dis-
played, refer to the "TCP/IP Protocol Setting
(Windows NT 4.0)"(page 35) in Chapter 6
Preparing AirStation Settings and add the
TCP/IP protocol.

