E Enter “D:\Ranger\setup.exe” in the [Open] field, and then click
[OK].
Installation starts.
F Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
installation.
IMPORTANT
The computer may need to be restarted, after the installation, depending on
the operating system. If this is necessary, make sure to restart the computer.
This section describes how to uninstall the Scanning Utility and the
Ranger.
IMPORTANT
• Be sure to log on as the Administrator.
• The procedure in Windows XP/7 is different from the ones described in this
manual. Refer to the Windows XP/7 “Help and Support Center” to uninstall
the software.
