Connecting a FXO Line
Connecting a FXO Line
Use a straight-through RJ-11 cable to connect the Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) voice port to the
PSTN or PBX through a telephone wall outlet.
To connect the FXO line, follow these steps:
Step 1 Connect one end of the straight-through RJ-11 cable to the FXO port. See Figure 3-13.

Step 2 Connect the other end of the cable to an RJ-11 telephone wall outlet.
