To configure an SNMP alarm for the throughput rate by
using the NetScaler command line
At the NetScaler command prompt, type the following commands to configure the
SNMP alarm and verify the configuration:
w set snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-THRESHOLD [-thresholdValue <positive_integer> [-
normalValue <positive_integer>]] [-state ( ENABLED | DISABLED )] [-severity
<severity>] [-logging ( ENABLED | DISABLED )]
w show snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-THRESHOLD
Example
> set snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-THRESHOLD -
thresholdValue 70 -normalValue 50
Done
> show snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-THRESHOLD

To modify or remove the threshold values by using the
NetScaler command line
w To modify the threshold values, type the set snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-THRESHOLD
command and the parameters to be changed, with their new values.
w To remove the threshold values, type the unset snmp alarm PF-RL-RATE-
THRESHOLD command, followed by the –thresholdValue parameter, but do not
specify any value for the parameter.
Note: The normal-threshold value is automatically unset when you unset the high-
threshold value.
To configure an SNMP alarm for PPS by using the NetScaler command
line
At the NetScaler command prompt, type the following commands to configure the
SNMP alarm for PPS and verify the configuration:
w set snmp alarm PF-RL-PPS-THRESHOLD [-thresholdValue <positive_integer> [-
normalValue <positive_integer>]] [-state ( ENABLED | DISABLED )] [-severity
<severity>] [-logging ( ENABLED | DISABLED )]
