Removing the Upper CPU Cover with Palmrest and TouchPad

To remove the Upper
CPU Cover with
Palmrest and
TouchPad, complete
the following steps:
1. Prepare the
computer for
disassembly.
2. Remove the
keyboard.
3. Remove the
Heatspreader.
4. Remove the
display assembly
with flex cables
attached.
5. Remove four
screws located at
the top of the
Upper CPU Cover
with Palmrest
and TouchPad.
6. Remove a fifth
screw located
just to the top
right of the fan.
