To remove the CD-
ROM or the DVD
Drive with shield
attached, complete
the following steps:
1. Prepare the
computer for
disassembly.
2. Disassemble
the wedge.
3. Remove two
screws at the
rear of the CD-
ROM or DVD
Drive and lift
the CD-ROM or
DVD Drive with
shield attached
off the
connector
wedge.
To replace the CD-
ROM or DVD Drive
with shield attached,
reverse the previous
procedures.
