BIOS Settings
It is normally not necessary to change the hardware configuration settings in the CMOS memory. If
settings become corrupted, follow the procedures here to reload the factory configuration.

. Power down the computer, connect a keyboard and turn on the power. Enter the Setup mode by
pressing the F2 key when prompted during the computer power-up sequence. The main BIOS setup
utility screen will appear offering several options for changing settings.

. In the EXIT menu - Load BIOS defaults.8. In the ADVANCED menu, select Installed OS. Change to
“Other.”

. Arrow to IO Device Configuration. Press ENTER.

. Make the following menu selections:
USB Enable
Audio Enable
COM: A (COM1 touch
screen)
3F8 / IRQ 4
COM: B (COM2, on bottom) 2F8 / IRQ3
COM: C (COM3 on bottom) 3E8 / IRQ 9
COM: D (internal) Disabled
LPT:A (LPT1 on bottom) ECP / 378 / IRQ7 /
DMA3
5. To save your changes, press ESC. In the Exit menu, select Exit Saving Changes.
