Removing the PowerEdge 1550 from the rack
Follow this procedure to remove the PowerEdge 1550 from the rack.

5. There are no steps required prior to removing the PowerEdge 1550 from the rack.
6. To remove the PowerEdge 1550 from the rack, perform the following steps.
• Unscrew the thumbscrew securing the cable management arm to the rear of the system.
7. • Perform the steps outlined in Extending the PowerEdge 1550 in the Rack.
8. • Press the leaf springs (shown in the image that follows) and pull the unit free from its top
cover in the rack.
