Entering the Service Tag in the BIOS

Turn on the computer.

Press <F2> during POST to enter the system setup program.

Navigate to the main tab and enter the Service Tag in the
Service Tag
Setting
field.
NOTE: The Set Service Tag field allows you to enter the Service Tag manually only
if the Service Tag is absent.
