8.5.4 On-Screen Reminders
As pending changes are selected, on-screen
messages will remind the user if the UPS may
be On, or must be Off, for the setting to be pro-
grammed once the Apply or OK button is
pressed. If there are no changes, these mes-
sages are shaded.
Values displayed will only be transmitted to
the UPS when either the Apply or OK button is
selected. The APPLY button sends the new set-
tings to the UPS without closing the program. The OK button sends the new settings and closes the
program.
Whenever data is successfully transmitted to the
UPS, this message will be displayed. If the UPS is
already ON, you do not need to restart it.
8.5.5 Programming Rejected When UPS is Off
If the UPS appears to be Off but this error message
is displayed when the APPLY Or OK button is
selected to transmit new settings on the UPS tab or
Options Tab, the UPS may be in an intermediate,
standby condition.
To Confirm That the UPS is Off, Repeat the Turn-Off Procedure
While the UPS is in Normal Mode operation, press the Off button once to put the UPS into Bypass
Mode. Once the UPS is in Bypass Mode operation, press and release the Off button two distinct times
(for about a second each time) to turn off the UPS.
Partial Rejection
If the UPS is not OFF and changes from both the Battery Tab and the (UPS Tab or Options Tab) are
selected, the UPS will only program the changes on the Battery Tab.
