Installing the DRAM SIMM
ToinstalltheDRAMSIMM,refertoFigure B‐6andproceedasfol lows:
1. Withtheconnectorarmssetintheopenposition,inserttheDRAMSIMMbetweenthe
connectorfingersandpushtheDRAMSIMMintotheconnectoruntilthetabsonthe
twoconnectorarmspullintowardstheDRAM
SIMMalignmentnotches.
2. PushtheDRAMSIMMfurtherintotheconnectoruntilthetwoalignmentnotchesand
thetabsonthetwoconnectorarmslocktheDRAMSIMMintoplace.
3. ReinstalltheNEM.Referto“Reinsta llingtheOptionalNetworkExpansionModule”
onpage B‐12forinstructions.
