BeforeyoucanreplacetheDRAMSIMM,youmustgainaccesstoitbyremovingthe
safetycoverandthenetworkexpansionmodule,ifoneisinstalled.Togainaccesstothe
DIMM,youonlyneedtoremovethesafetycover.
Removing the Safety Cover
RefertoFigure B‐3andproceedasfollows:
1. Attachtheantistaticwriststrap(refertotheinstructionsontheantistaticwriststrap
package).
2. PlacetheDFEmoduleonanantistaticpadonasturdyflatsurface.
3. Removethesevenscrewsfasteningthesafetycovertothesevenstandoffsonthemain
board.
Saveallscrewsforlaterusetoreinstallthesafetycover.
4. IfyouneedtoreplacetheDRAMSIMM,proceedto“DRAMSIMMReplacement
Procedure”onpage B‐7.IfyouarereplacingtheDIMM,proceedto“DIMM
ReplacementProcedure”onpage B‐10.
Electrical Hazard: To prevent exposure to an energy hazard in a 4G4285-49 connected
to an external N-POE Power System, disconnect the 48-Vdc power cable from the 48-Vdc
input connector before servicing or removing the 4G4285-49.

4G4285-49 conectada a un sistema externo de energia N-POE Power System,
desconectar el cable de poder de 48-Vdc del conector de entrada 48-Vdc antes de dar
