Objective: To set the Red Data Port to 9600 bps.
Set your 90si Default Settings to: (05) Full Duplex, (08) Async 9600, (17) OMNI Sectera vIPer other Connected
and your chosen conguration (See Section 2.3 Choose a Conguration).
Insure the following vIPer settings:

Secure Data Enabled
Red Data Port Rate 9600 bps.
Auto-Answer Data Disabled (Enabled for unattended reception of secure faxes)
Auto Lock OFF
The vIPer Red Data Port has a 9-pin D type connector while the 90si ships with a Female DB25 Data Port con-
nector. A cable adapter is required as described in the following table.
