Synchronous
Synchronous refers to the way in which data
is passed between the 90si and the attached
Secure Telephone. Specically, in synchronous
communications each data bit is "clocked"
between the 90si and the Secure Phone using
clock signals generated by the Secure Phone.
The clock signal tells the 90si what "data rate"
the Secure Phone is using.
Two-Line Dual-Mode Conguration
This 90si conguration allows the attached fax
to function as BOTH a secure fax AND a non-
secure fax. Unclassied faxes can be received
automatically (unattended).
VoIP
An acronym for Voice Over Internet Protocol
which refers to systems for delivering voice
communications over IP networks.
Volatile Memory
Employed in the 90si, this type of memory
loses its data when power is removed.
