Wireless (Wi-Fi) networking
The HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One includes built-in wireless
networking, so you can connect the e-All-in-One directly to a
Wi-Fi network without using an external print server. Wireless
networking allows work teams with a wireless router and a
notebook or desktop computer with a wireless card or adapter to
print via a wireless connection—there’s no need for a cable
between the computer and the e-All-in-One. And data travels
quickly, at speeds up to 300 Mbps across distances of up to
100 feet (30.5 meters). The benefits of built-in wireless

simply connect an Ethernet cable from the device’s fax port to the network hub, switch, or router, and then run
the installation software on each of the computers on the network. On-screen instructions provide easy step-by-
step installation.
