9. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board connector (2).
10. Remove the bottom cover from the computer.
NOTE: Thoroughly clean the thermal pad material from the surfaces of the base enclosure (1) and
the PCH chip (2) each time you remove the base enclosure. All base enclosure and system board
spare part kits include replacement thermal pad material.
