Replacing the Battery
6 Lift the clip and slip the battery out of its holder, as shown in Figure 60.
NOTICE: Note the orientation of the battery. Make sure that you put the new battery
in place with the positive (+) side facing up.

7 Insert the new battery in the holder with the positive (+) side facing up. (Only use
HP part number 1420-0314 or equivalent.)
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
