The top cover removal procedures in this section apply to
HP Pavilion dv4200 models. The spare part information listed
in the following table applies to HP Pavilion dv4200,
Compaq Presario V4200, and HP Compaq nx7220 models.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3)
and remove the following components:
a. Hard drive (Section 5.4)
b. Switch cover (Section 5.12)
c. Keyboard (Section 5.13)
d. Display assembly (Section 5.14)
2. Turn the computer upside down with the front toward you.
