• two mounting brackets
• two cable ties
• four 10 mm M3 thread-forming screws to attach the mounting
brackets to the switch
• four 5/8-inch number 12-24 screws to attach the switch to a rack
■ Power cord, one of the following:
Installation Steps
Follow these easy steps to install your switch. The rest of this chapter provides
details on these steps.
1. Prepare the installation site
2. Install any optional modules
3. Verify that the switch passes self test
4. Mount the switch
5. Connect power to the switch
6. Connect the network cables
