servicingFRUs:
• IfyouareinstructedtoreplaceanFRU,butthereplacementdoesnotsolve
theproblem,reinstalltheoriginalFRUbeforeyoucontinue.
• Somecomputershavebothaprocessorboardandasystemboard.Ifyouare
instructed
toreplaceeitherofthem,andreplacingoneofthemdoesnotsolve
theproblem,reinstallthatboard,andthenreplacetheotherone.
• IfanadapteroradeviceconsistsofmorethanoneFRU,anyoftheFRUsmay
bethecauseoftheerror.Beforereplacingtheadapterordevice,removethe
FRUsonebyonetoseeifthesymptomschange.ReplaceonlytheFRUthat
changedthesymptoms.

beencustomized.RunningAutomaticConfigurationmayalterthesettings.Note
thecurrentconfigurationsettings(usingtheViewConfigurationoption);then,
whenservicehasbeencompleted,verifythatthosesettingsremainineffect.

handlingcancausedamagetothosecomponents,andmaycauseasystem
malfunction.
Attention:Whenhandlingasystemboard:
• Donotdropthesystemboardorapplyanyexcessiveforcetoit.
• Avoidroughhandlingofanykind.
• Avoidbendingthesystemboardandhardpushingtopreventcrackingat
eachBGA(BallGridArray)chipset.
