SavingtheMultiVOIPConfiguration.WhenvalueshavebeensetforalloftheMultiVOIP’svariousoperating
parameters,clickSaveSetupinthesidebar,thenSave&Reboot.
CreatingaUserDefaultConfiguration.Whena“Setup”(completegroupingofparameters)isbeingsaved,you
arepromptedaboutdesignatingthatsetupas
a“UserDefault”setup.AUserDefaultsetupmaybeusefulasa
baselineofsite‐specificvaluestowhichyoucan easilyrevert.EstablishingaUserDefaultSetupisoptional.

SetBaudRate.TheConnectionoptioninthesidebarmenuhasa“Settings”itemthatincludesthebaud‐rate
settingfortheCOMportofthecomputerrunningtheMultiVOIPsoftware.
ThedefaultCOMportestablishedbythe
MultiVOIPprogramisCOM1.Donotacceptthedefaultvalueuntilyou
havecheckedtheCOMportallocationonyourPC.Todothis,checkforCOMportassignmentsinthesystem
resourcemanagerofyourWindowsoperatingsystem.IfCOM1isnotavailable,youmustchangetheCOMport
settingtoaCOMportthatyouhaveconfirmedasbeingavailableonyourPC.
