Troubleshooting/

Possible Causes
Insufficient hard disk capacity.
A connection cable is unplugged.
DSS Player is not installed.
The HOLD switch of the DS-320 is set to HOLD.
The speaker or headphone volume is set too low.
The volume of Windows or DSS Player is set too low.
The speaker or headphones is not connected.
The sound card is not connected.
The volume of Windows or DSS Player is set to 0.
Muting is set to ON.
The voice recognition software is not installed.
The voice recognition software is installed after DSS
Player.
The File was recorded in LP mode.

Solution
Make more space available.
Connect the connection cable.
Install DSS Player.
Set the HOLD switch to hold-off position.
Increase the speaker or headphones
volume.
Increase the playback volume in
Windows or DSS Player.
Connect speakers or headphones.
Connect a sound card.
Increase the playback volume in
Windows or DSS Player.
Release muting.
Install the voice recognition software.
Install the voice recognition software
before DSS Player.
Make sure that you use the SP recording
mode for all voice recognition recordings.
