Selecting Database Formats
Use the following structure to create a sequential file for the formats:
Format 1 1511
028028111119,,Toothpaste,,239,,,,
Field 1 = UPC-A Bar code, 12 numeric characters
Field 3 = Description, 0 - 14 alphanumeric characters
Field 5 = Price, 1 - 6 numeric characters
Fields 2, 4, and 6 - 9 = Not Needed
NOTE: The label size is a 4-digit number in the top right corner of the
display. For example, 1511 indicates a 1.5” width x 1.1” feed
length label.
